Adventure Meals

Freeze-dried meals, ranked by the numbers that matter

Every pouch on its complete nutrition panel, read from the manufacturer’s own product pages — then put side by side on the figures that actually decide it: calories per gram carried, protein per dollar, sodium, and what a calorie really costs.

Brands

One page per brand, each with its complete figures and its own compare tool.

Brands do not print their panels the same way. Some state the figures for the whole pouch, others for one serving of a pouch that holds two — read those side by side and you are wrong by the serving count. Every dataset here is normalized to whole-pouch totals before anything is compared, and each brand page states which basis its label uses. Both brands above print per pouch, so they are directly comparable.

How to read these

  • cal/g is calories per gram of dry mix — the only number that matters when you are carrying it. Pouches whose panel states “1 package” instead of a gram weight cannot be ranked on it and show —.
  • ¢ / cal is cost per calorie in cents. Multiply by roughly 30 for a day of eating.
  • Figures say cal where they are strictly kilocalories. That is the US nutrition-panel convention.

Caveats

  • Prices are list prices at the time of capture and move with promotions.
  • Compiled independently from public product data. Not affiliated with or endorsed by any brand listed.
